Hotel Fun

Landon always looks forward to staying at the "E Hotel", but we were excited to see how Kaylee would do. She loved it! She loved to breakfast, the big windows in the room, the elevator...it was a great stay. While we were there both kids got ready in the same bathroom and she realized that Landon got to brush his own teeth before I brushed. Well, she then wanted to do it herself. I think her face in this picture is HYSTERICAL...she is saying "See mom I CAN do it!"

Toots

Toots is one of our FAVORITE places to go when we go to Murfreesboro. There are no words to explain how much these girls mean to me. We met 14 years ago and we have come through a lot to be still best friends. I love that not only do we pick up right where we left off, but so do our kids and husbands. I love seeing them each summer!

Our Stop at the Pippengers

After a nap at the hotel we went over to Jill's house for pizza. All 4 kids played HARD. We were excited that Kent was home too. Kaylee went right to him.

 The boys took all the kids outside while Jill and I spent some time catching up and watching the Bachelorette.

 Kaylee enjoyed petting their cat. I guess she isn't allergic like her mommy. (Sorry the camera is blurry...it went from a cool house to a humid outside.)

I really enjoyed this time.

Discovery Center

The second day we were in the Boro we went to The Discovery Center with the Pippengers and the Ledbetters, Kaylee went right to the water center. I figured that she would be SOAKED, but the little smock helped a lot!

 This is Cade, Jill's son.

 We were excited that Allison brought Whitney, Brooke, and Lainey too.

 There were different rooms that the kids could go into, building, post office, music...

Kaylee just liked carrying the bags, "purses", around.

 Tinsley thought it was funny to paint Wes.

 Kaylee liked following Cade around. It was SO cute!

 I love that Kaylee looks like me.

 Kaylee warmed up to Jill and just backed up and sat in her lap.

 Kaylee and Tinsley played so good together.

 I love Jill. We have been through A LOT together! Our memories are endless and I am thankful for each one!

 We finally convinced Landon to go down the slide with Cade and Tinsley. After he did it once he didn't want to stop.

 While the other kids came down the slide Jill took Kaylee over to play in the water. I think Jill became Kaylee's new best friend because mommy wouldn't take her back.



Headed to Murfreesboro

When we arrived in Murfreesboro our first stop was Allison's house. The kids were ready to get out of the car, ran right in, and started to get out ALL of the toys.

 Allison's twin girls are 4 months older than Kaylee. She also just had a sweet new addition, Lainey. I was excited to meet her.

 As we were getting ready to go to dinner they got out Lainey's car seat and, of course, Kaylee reverted back to my little baby.

 Allison helps me keep the girls straight by putting Brooke in blue or purple. (B- blue...B-Brooke)

Whitney was playing hide and seek with me.

 We went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant and made sure that we got a group picture just in case the little ones didn't join us the rest of the days we were there.

It was a great start to our vacation.
