Love, Adore, Inseparable...

Love, Adore, Inseparable...this is the way I would describe them. It is funny because I do not have siblings, so it is hard for me to understand their relationship. 95% of the time they are STUCK LIKE GLUE, but there is that 5% that they are bugging the crap out of each other. WHY??? I just don't understand, but I love to watch their love and concern for each other grow each day!

My New Captain

Mimi and Bubba came into town to help me out while I was in a reading class. Before Wes left for work they went out to a friends airplane, and Landon got to sit in the captain's seat. Bubba took the picture and sent it to me at school. It kind of took my breath away because Landon looked SO big to me! He is growing up way too fast!

Wreath Success!

I feel like I have been working on this wreath FOREVER. Really it has been about a month because every time this material came in it was immediately GONE! Everyone loves the chevron grey and white. I finally was able to get my hands on enough material and finish it up. Our door is huge so it always looks so cute with a large wreath on it!

Our Little Stinker

I told Kaylee to pose so I could send a picture of her in a bikini to daddy. Look at her little smirk on her face. Daddy said, "NO BIKINIS!" Oh, is he in for it!

Landon has been working on a website called XTRA MATH which works on understanding math facts quickly. He has been working on addition facts. He was so happy that he completed his addition facts with a 100%. We are so proud of him!!!

Now it is on to subtraction!

National Doughnut Day

Today was National Doughnut Day and we LOVE doughnuts!!! We decided to get up and get there early since many others would be doing the same thing! 

We ended up with 16 doughnuts. 4 were free.  We enjoyed those doughnuts for the next few days!

Swimming Fun

Wes hasn't been home a lot this last week, so I decided that we were just going to have to go to the pool without daddy! The kids did great! The water was too cold for me to go in, so I sat on the side and sunned my white legs. 

Landon took swim lessons last year, and I was bound and determined that he was going to get back to where he was last year before going back. It took me promising him that he could pick where we went for lunch for him to swim under water with his eyes open. He ROCKED it and we went to McDonalds.

Kaylee did a lot of playing on the stairs until I said it was time to go. She then decided to jump off of the stairs and swim around the pool. So, we had to swim for a few more minutes.

This Secret is KILLING ME!!!

I am always very good at keeping a secret, BUT this time around it is KILLING me!!! 

What is my secret????

WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY IN NOVEMBER!

I know this isn't a secret to many of you, BUT it is a secret to the kids! This is the hardest thing to keep quiet. Many people have brought it up in front of the kids and I have found a way to redirect the conversation. Wes has even talked about it without thinking. This is going to be 5 months, but the payoff of surprising the kids will all be worth it!

Meds...OMG!

The last week of school into the the first week of summer Landon has been coughing up a lung. It is mostly if we are outside or if her gets running and hot. Monday I felt like it had gone on long enough and decided to call the doctor. I would rather pay the $20 and them tell me it is nothing that it to turn into something big! After a few minutes with the doctor she confirmed that he was on his was to bronchitis. She said it looked like he had started out with just allergies, but it went into his chest and stayed. We walked out with albuterol, and antibiotic, and told to take Claritin for the next 2 weeks. (until blooming season was over) Landon hasn't had an inhaler since he was 3 months old. OMG...the ENERGY that boy has since he has been on it is AMAZING!!! I think that they should give parents some medicine to keep up with the kids when put on this. Either way it is WORKING! He is able to play outside and run without coughing! He says his chest feels so much better. That means it is all worth it! I guess now I know to start him on Claritin as soon as the blooming season starts next year and keep it up through June!

Mayfield Dairy

Wes, Landon, Kaylee, and I met Kristi, Olivia, Braden and Anderson at the Mayfield Dairy. We missed the first tour, so we decided to eat ice cream first and then go on the tour. 

Before we could go on the tour we had to wear hair nets, which was so cute. 

The kids got to pretend to milk a cow.

 

Then we went for lunch at Cracker Barrel. Anderson and Braden were hungry too, so we took turns feeding the boys. 

This is why I LOVE summer! Making memories...

Making Ice Cream

I pinned a recipe of how to make ice cream in a bag. The kids enjoyed it, but thought it was rich. Either way it was fun time together!

I love that he ate most of it and then said yuck! Silly boy!

Kaylee's 1st Dentist Appointment

 Landon and Kaylee had a dentist appointment on the same day. I decided to let Landon go first so that Kaylee could watch and see that it is not a big deal. Dr. Kwon's office is AMAZING!!! They put us in a room instead of just out in the open, so that we could close the door and just let Kaylee watch and talk through the whole thing. I am so thankful because there was a young kid crying, but when the door was shut we couldn't hear it! 

Kaylee was VERY excited because we had been talking about it all week, but I don't think she really knew what was in store. 

She was so excited for Landon to get out of the chair so that she could get in. 

She did a great job and had pretty teeth just like her brother!

She even did a good job with x-rays.

Landon had a wonderful report like always!

Since they both had a great report we went to Menchies for ice cream!
