Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary

One great thing about going to Mimi and Bubba's house over spring break is we get to celebrate their anniversary with them. This one was a very special 50th anniversary. I am thankful everyday for these 2. They have raised a wonderful man that loves me unconditionally! They have also set a great example of what marriage is and they are great with our kids.

Finally a Fish for Landon

Windy attempt at the beach

It was a beautiful day and the kids REALLY wanted to go to the beach, so we tried to. Unfortunately, the wind was CRAZY and we didn't last long. When Bubba came I was under a beach towel trying to protect myself from the sand that was beating my legs. Guess we will try another day!

Boat Day with Wes

Wes and I took a day to head out on the beach while the kids stayed with Mimi and Bubba. They sent us a picture that Kaylee caught a catfish. 

I kind of felt bad for Landon when I got this picture texted to me of Kaylee getting the fish. Landon is the one that is always excited about fishing and dying to catch something, but I know he won't give up!

as soon as we got to our favorite spot, I saw a small black tip shark and Wes saw a stingray. Wes' next question was, "do you want to walk to the beach?" UH NO I just saw 2 sea creatures!!! Well Wes decided that he would carry me on his shoulders. What a great man!

We parked the boat in the middle of the bay and then took a water taxi in for dinner. What a great night with my man!

Day 2

Kaylee convinced mommy to get into the hot tub, but couldn't convince me to move to the pool.

We had a great lunch on the beach!

I think that Kaylee is exhausted from vacationing. 

Windy Day 1

Today it was pretty windy, so I laid on the porch under a blanket while the kids jumped from the hot tub to the pool. Crazy kids!

Then we headed to the race track. Kaylee wanted to ride with daddy and Landon with Bubba.

                                          

That night Wes and I got to go on a date. I cherish every minute that I get to spend with this man!

Destin Bound

Kaylee seemed to be feeling better! We only had one emergency bathroom stop, but we made it safely!
