Bounce House - Big Girl

So, Wes and I took Kaylee's "baby" carseat out of my car just in case someone rode with us to my birthday. Yesterday as Wes was running out the door to get to Crossfit he realized he didn't put it back in the car I told him to just grab the big girl carseat and throw it in the car. I had planned on switching it after we got back from Gasperilla, FL. I know she can sleep really well in the "baby" seat. Well, today I was going to put the "baby" one back in my car, but this little thing said, "No mommy I am a big girl and I can sleep in the big seat!"

I guess she will figure out how to sleep. She is a big girl now!

We got to meet Kristi, Olivia, Braden and Anderson at the bounce house. Wes got to come before he left for work.

On the way home Kaylee did figure out how to fall asleep.

Always good to be HOME!

We were so lucky to have Mrs. Liz come over and stay the night with the kids. Normally we have family that could watch them, but Nana is still down with knee surgery and Aunt Alisa and Uncle Jeff are at Mimi and Bubba's house. I am so thankful that Liz was able to help. She took the kids to the bounce house and McDonalds and the next day she took them to the park and for a milk shake.

I loved walking in and the kids attacking me. Normally they are always with me so the screams are saved for daddy. It was nice to have it for me for a change.

Kaylee sat on the couch to snuggle with me and then I felt her head get very heavy and she was out. I enjoyed every second of my snuggle time with my Little Bit.

I love having time with Wes and friends, BUT there is NO PLACE LIKE HOME!

June 27-28 - My 35th Birthday Party

If you know me, you know that I LOVE my birthday. A lot of people like to ignore their birthdays as they get older, but I embrace mine. It is an excuse to get together with friends and celebrate another year of life! Wes always makes me feel extra special on my birthday, but this year we did it up even bigger. We decided to stay the night downtown and invite everyone to stay downtown if they wanted. Kristi & Jon Terry and Kerri & Aaron Hildreth came downtown early to get checked in at the hotel. We hung out in our room for awhile before it was time to get ready. I was very excited to get into my dress, it made me feel beautiful! Wes actually found it and bought it for me. He knows how to make me feel beautiful!

We all then got ready and headed to Two Urban Licks to meet Kristen Hewitt, Michelle Godfrey, Jenna & Daniel Perry, Michelle & Don McMahon.

After dinner we went to a piano bar and danced until we dropped. I thought my feet were going to fall off. Kristi brought me flat shoes to change into, but I forgot them. Kristi, Jon, Wes, and I all danced until 1:30 in the morning and then crashed by 2:00.

It was a WONDERFUL 35th birthday! I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends and a WONDERFUL husband!

June 26 - Murfreesboro Day 4 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! I love that I got to wake up and my whole family was together. We got up and had breakfast at the hotel and then we had to run to our college to get the kids pictures. We do this every year, so we can watch them grow.

Then it was off to Toots for our last lunch together.

My crazy man always does a selfie when I ask him to take a picture for me. He makes me laugh!

Our crew has grown a lot and I love it!!!

This was on my time hop today. Man have they grown in 4 years.

June 25 - Murfreesboro Day 3

We started our day at the indoor water park. This year was the first time that our kids all went and played by themself. We got to sit and talk while we watched them play. It was so sweet! The great thing about this place is even the little kids can touch!

Landon and Cade played nonstop on the waterslide.

The girls loved playing and talking.

We the went to Toots and waited to hear if Wes got on the plane to Nashville. Unfortunately, he missed the first flight while we were sitting at Toots eating, so the Pippengers came back and played at the hotel. While we were there Wes called and said he was on the flight and headed our way.

The kids and I went and picked him up and then headed over to Jill's house where the Ledbetters joined us.

(This is Winnie. The fact that Jill has a dog and not a cat blows my mind. I love that Winnie has turned Jill into a dog person!)

The kids were all SO excited to get the bread and feed the ducks.

These boys are two peas in a pod! I LOVE IT!!!

I have know these girls for 17 years. That seems like an eternity, but I remember walking into Bellwood and meeting them for the first time. It seems like yesterday. We get to see each other once a year and we pick up right where we left off. We have been through A LOT together. They are two of my best friends and I could not imagine my life without them!!!

The fact that Wes and I held Jade when she was born and now she is a sophomore in high school BLOWS MY MIND, but she has turned into a beautiful young lady!
