Christmas with Family

Nana and Grandma joined us on Dec. 22.

Katy, mom's dog, kept taking Sophie's bed, so Sophie got to break the rules and snuggle on a blanket on the couch with us.

We all went to the movies to see Ferdinand. It was precious!

The boys went on Dec. 25th to see the new Star Wars.

Wes' big present was his new boat. We are so excited for this summer to get out on the lake.

Sturgeon Sandwich

Landon got a Nintendo Switch for Christmas and these two are loving playing it together. I love to watch them play together. That is one thing that I have always said...we are blessed that they play so well together. I love them so much!!!

Christmas Day December 21

Gotta get our normal morning pictures before the kids see what Santa brought.

Then within seconds it is all ripped up!

Kaylee got daddy a hat and made him a curly hair out of paper.

The mess shows the leftovers from happy kids!

Christmas Eve December 20

Wes wasn't guaranteed to be home on Christmas day so the kids picked December 20, the last day of school, to be our Christmas Eve. We started our morning with Waffle House.
(I am finally feeling better after being out for 1 1 /2 days!)

Landon said that he likes having Christmas Eve on a school day because it makes it go by fast. We are ready for Santa to come.

Gingerbread Houses

I came home half a day today after stopping at the doctor to get medicine for a sinus infection with a fever. Wes stayed at school with both kids while Landon worked with his robotics club. This allowed me to just rest. When they got home at 5:30, they ate and then worked on their gingerbread houses. This was the first year that they did them all by themselves and they did and awesome job!

Ballet /Tap

Kaylee has spent the last 4 months taking ballet/tap/jazz class. Today she had her winter showcase and her group did tap. She did an amazing job!

December Fun

Jenn has become one of my closest friends. She is witty, sarcastic, cracks me up, and is one of the sweetest people you will meet. I am thankful that our friendship is growing!

This little girl got dressed without seeing me. I came out of my room and we just laughed. She them asked if I would put her hair in a bun to look like me. Oh how I love it!

Snow in Georgia in December

HOLY SNOW!!!
We were told that it wasn't going to be a lot, but in the middle of my reading test I hear a LARGE GASP from one of my students and low and behold their were LARGE snowflakes coming down. I promised them that if they worked hard that I would take them out in it, so that is what we did. As the day rolled on it came down harder and started to stick to the roads. School finally called off a hour early.

I love our house in the snow.

Kaylee and daddy...then and now.

Daddy is never home when it snows, so the kids were very excited that it snowed all night long and it was packable, plus daddy was there to help. I think that their snowmen turned out adorable.
