Gotta Love My Boys!

Wes actually got released early from work because they didn't give him enough rest the night before, so he went and picked up Landon. He loves to surprise him! So when I got home they were in on the computer. I walked up behind Wes and as he turned around he was face to face with "the BUMP" his next words were..."Wow where did that come from?" Gotta love it. I know that not seeing me for 4 days has something to do with it, but I KNOW she hasn't grown that much. Think he is a little dramatic?

I have also heard this from work, so I had to go back and look at my last post in Dec.- 5 weeks ago, and I guess in 5 weeks I have really grown. I decided to look back at my pictures from when I was prego with Landon and this is the time that I "popped" too. Either way, between Landon and Wes they let me know that Miss Kaylee is growing. Landon's new saying is "Kaylee is a blow fish because she is blowing up and soon she will POP" You gotta love a 3 year olds take on pregnancy!

Also...YES I have a waddle...someone at work noticed yesterday by saying, "Ok, now you are starting to look pregnant and waddle." My response had to be..."Well I am in my 8th month and only have about 5 weeks left." I guess I am doing pretty good for just starting to POP and waddle.

Week 33

Well it is week 33, and I am well into my 8th month. The belly is definitely popping out now. Landon calls it my basketball. I just can't believe that we are almost there. We are so excited to meet Kaylee and see who she is going to look like. I wonder if I will have any claim to her looks, or if Wes will get all of the credit again. Either way I will be blessed! Overall I am feeling good. I am exhausted most days that I work, and my back is always in need of a massage or HOT shower. I think the thing that is the hardest is working through the entire pregnancy. With Landon I had 2 months off and then only went back for a month before I was off again. I do miss that, but I enjoy my weekends where I can play with Landon, do things around the house at my own pace, and then take a MUCH needed nap.

Can you believe we only have 5-6 weeks left. WHERE DOES TIME GO??? Here are some pictures of the growing belly.

Making Cookies with Daddy

Wes is an AMAZING dad! When he is home he wants to spend every moment having fun with his family. Landon has been wanting to make cookies, but I was so tired I just didn't have the energy after work. Wes quickly jumped in and said he would do it with him. I just sat by and gave instructions on what to do. I have a feeling Landon enjoyed doing it with his daddy even more! They have a very special relationship that I LOVE to watch!

The reason he loves making sugar cookies is that he gets to use his cookie cutters.

They did a great job and the cookies were YUMMY!

Landon Riding his Bike

Landon got a bike from Santa, but it has been so cold that he hasn't been able to really enjoy it. We have pulled the cars out a couple of times so he could ride in the garage, but he was VERY excited to finally get to ride this past weekend. It was 60 degrees and BEAUTIFUL!

Kaylee's Finished Room

Kaylee's room is finally finished. We got a call on Thursday that our rocking chair was in, and Wes decided to surprise me. He went and picked it up while I was at work on Fri. When I got home it was already in Kaylee's room. We spent the weekend hanging curtains and putting finishing touches on her room. Now all we have to do is wash her clothes, but that is waiting on my mom!

Landon has placed his bear he made for Kaylee in her crib.

We just can't believe that it is almost time for us to meet Kaylee. We are very excited to welcome her to our family.

"Daddy's Home"

Landon truely misses his daddy when he is gone, but the best part is daddy coming home. Wes usually calls when he is close, and Landon's new thing is to wait at the dinning room window until he sees Wes' truck. While Landon is at the window Sophie has heard that daddy is almost home so she is glued to the garage door waiting to hear the door open. When Landon sees daddy and Sophie hears daddy the house gets LOUD with excitement. Here is a glimpse...

Happy 33rd Birthday Daddy!

Landon was so excited for Wednesday, January 26. He knew his daddy was coming home, and it was daddy's birthday on the 27th. He found a box of brownies in the closet that he wanted to make for his daddy, so Wed. night we came home to make the brownies.

He actually did EVERYTHING himself. I poured everything in the measuring cups and cracked the egg. He did the rest on his own. He was so proud of himself.

The best part was the beater after making the brownies. This is the first time I let him try it, and my boy loves chocolate...so it was a hit!

While I put the brownies in the oven Landon went and looked for candles and found all of his pirate cake toppers. He said that we had to put it on daddy's brownies!

When daddy got home Landon was so excited to show him his brownie "cake". We had to sing Happy Birthday and then try the brownie before bed.

Wes had a extended birthday. Thurs. the 27th we had dinner with the Renos at Dave and Busters. It was great to get the kids, big and small, together to play. Friday we went over to Jeff and Alisa's house for a great dinner. Landon loves playing with his cousins. Saturday we went to dinner with the Hildreth's out Outback. After a LONG wait we finally enjoyed a great dinner together. Landon loves going to dinner with them. Sunday was full of kids' birthday parties, and we wrapped up Wes' dinners with dinner with the Ruepings. It was great seeing everyone to celebrate my hubby's birthday.
