Headed to Murfreesboro

When we arrived in Murfreesboro our first stop was Allison's house. The kids were ready to get out of the car, ran right in, and started to get out ALL of the toys.

 Allison's twin girls are 4 months older than Kaylee. She also just had a sweet new addition, Lainey. I was excited to meet her.

 As we were getting ready to go to dinner they got out Lainey's car seat and, of course, Kaylee reverted back to my little baby.

 Allison helps me keep the girls straight by putting Brooke in blue or purple. (B- blue...B-Brooke)

Whitney was playing hide and seek with me.

 We went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant and made sure that we got a group picture just in case the little ones didn't join us the rest of the days we were there.

It was a great start to our vacation.

Middle of Summer Bucket List Update

I decided to pull up the summer bucket list that Landon and I wrote in April to see what all we still needed to do.

1. GA Aquarium
2. Pool

3. Park

4. Picnic at the park

5. Rainy day picnic in the house (It hasn't rained too much>)

6. Play in the sprinkler

7. Go to the Atlanta Zoo with Maddie and Chloe

8. "S" Hotel in Murfreesboro- (headed there next week)

9. Go to Nana's House- (headed there next week)

10. Go to Mimi and Bubba's house and the beach - (headed there in 2 weeks)

11. Water gun fight

12. Splash in puddles after it rains

13. Color in a coloring book

14. Do some preschool work

15. Chalk on the driveway

16. Bird, squirrel, and bug watch

17. Jump at Monkey Joes

18. Lunch at Chick-Fil-A

19. Lunch dates with Ms. Michelle and Declan, Ms. Allison, Ms. Kristi and Oliva, and the Fondrens

20. Go to the Water park
 
Not too bad for one month down and one to go!

Happy 4th of July

Jon, Kristi, and Olivia Terry joined us for a 4th of July cookout. The boys got the beer butt chicken started and Kristi and I took care of the rest.

The kids played together with all of the toys.

We enjoyed sitting outside and watch the fireworks in our neighborhood! It was a great 4th!

Mowing

Landon always wants to help his dad and yesterday was no different. Wes decided to let him try the lawnmower and Landon was VERY excited!

I know there will come a day when we have to DRAG him out to mow the grass, so we might as well take advantage of the time that we have where he wants to do it.

Girls' Night Out

Wes had spent the last four days going out with his cousins, so it was my turn to have a night out! I called up some of my girlfriends and we went to the new Movie Tavern. You have dinner while you watch a movie. We went to see Magic Mike.

I have a blast with Michelle McMahon, Kristi Terry, Jenna Perry, and Michelle Godfrey.

Cousins

We were very excited to have Wes' cousins Chase and Ryan come to visit. They went to two Braves baseball games in the crazy hot weather.

While they were visitng it was Chase's birthday so the kids and I went and picked up a cake to celebrate.

We had a great to with family!

Mr. Greg

We have been going to Crosspointe Church over the last year and the best thing about this church is Mr. Greg. He has been Landon's teacher since we started. Mr. Greg has moved up with Landon's group two times and Landon just loves it. He has learned so much about Jesus and that is because Mr. Greg has been such a great teacher!
