Brother and Sister Love

I will be the first to say that I do NOT understand the whole sibling thin because I am an only child. It cracks me up to watch Landon and Kaylee together. They will be arguing on minute and laughing the next. Then wrestling that turns into hugs and kisses. Kaylee has hit the age that she knows what makes Landon mad, like pretending she didn't hear him so he repeats himself over and over and over. I guess this is all to say at the end of the day these two kids ADORE each other more than I could ever comprehend, which makes me one happy mommy!

Easter

This Easter we were happy to have daddy home and Nana Banana and Great Grandma Daniel with us.

 We started at Cracker Barrel for Easter, but ended up at Applebee's because the wait was too long. 

Soccer Time Again

Landon is taking a break from swim lessons and going back to soccer. I LOVE this sport, and he seems to keep coming back to it. Here are some pictures from his first game. 

Work with Mom and Working Out with Dad

Landon loves spending time with both of us! He got to come to work with me one night and I loved showing him off! (It was too late for Kaylee to go.) He was excited to see what will soon be his school.

While Kaylee took a nap one day, Landon and Wes worked out. Landon did a great job too!

Graduation Already?

I almost cried when I picked up Landon's preschool graduation pictures. It was a HUGE reality check for me that my baby is growing up. He has grown so much this year! He has always been a very smart child, but he has a teacher, Ms. Karen, that realized early on that he was smart and had a desire to learn. She has pushed him and he has taken what she has given him and ran with it. He is leaving preschool knowing how to read "real" books, as he calls them. I can't tell you how proud that makes me! I prayed hard for the right teacher, because this was the year that I had no control over who he got, and my prayers were answered tenfold! 

God NEVER lets us down, even with the smallest prayers!

Landon was very excited to show his dad the picture when he got home. Wes told him that we better see him in two more pictures just like this and more is he wants! Wes then had to explain high school graduation and college graduation. The funny part was when Great Grandma came to the house he showed her the picture and said, "Yeah, I am getting ready for college!" I cracked up! I guess it is NEVER too early to let him know it isn't a choice...right?

How did you get out of the house like that?

One would think that something like this would happen on a day that I am home alone with the kids, but NO! Landon got out of the house with both parents home and neither of us noticed until we were running our last errand before lunch. Seriously???
When I pointed it out, we all had a good laugh and then Landon said, "I thought my shoes felt funny!"
