Rocketfest

Landon was very excited to participate in the Roscketfest at school. Everything for this project is done at home and just for fun. Luckily, Wes knows a little about flying so they had a blast building the rocket together! Landon was even sweet enough to let Kaylee paint one of the fins.

 When we tried to put the rocket on the launcher, we realized the fins were too long. We had to do a little maintenance for it to be launch ready!

His seemed to hang for a long time, but we came at the beginning of the launch, so we didn't know if he would win or not. A week later we found out and Landon won 2nd place for longest hang time in the whole school. He was SO PROUD!!!

 

My Little Chefs

My munchkins wanted to make their own pizzas, so we got little pizza lunchables and they made pizzas. They had a blast and little did they know they made their own lunch. Mommy got a break. HA!

Cousins

We were excited to have Wes' cousins come in again. We had a lot of fun hanging out together, going to Landon's soccer game, going to the pumpkin patch, and laughing a lot!

We always end their visit with a trip to Mimi's Cafe. 

Birthday at School

I feel like Landon has celebrated his birthday A LOT! I was excited to be able to take a break from work and be a mom for a few minutes. I got to enjoy lunch with my baby boy. 

 Landon was VERY happy to celebrate his birthday with his first loose tooth. He ended up pulling it out on his own at Home Depot. He was one proud boy!

Soccer Game in the Rain

The morning of Landon's birthday party it was drizzling, so I thought that they would cancel the soccer game, but they didn't. We started with soccer pictures and then waited around for Landon's game.

Kaylee wanted a chance to take soccer pictures like her brother.

She was one happy girl when Landon offered her the soccer ball.

She then retired to sitting with Great Grandma and Nana Banana.

Needless to say it started RAINING when we sat down for the game. We all cuddled under the umbrellas.

Landon and Wes were completely soaked, but they had fun!

Birthday Time!!!

You know that I am a BIG time planner and always want things to go right, Landon's birthday was no different. Well, it was POURING down rain and Wes decided to take the highway instead of the backroads because it would be faster. You know how that always goes...we ran into traffic because of a wreck and sat in traffic. Either way we had one happy boy to be at Chuck E Cheese!

I found this shirt on Pinterest and thought it was ADORABLE!!!

This boy was DETERMINED to grab as many tickets as possible. This was the MAIN reason why we came to Chuck E Cheese, he couldn't wait to get in there. Can you tell he is ready?

I just love my little family. They are growing like little weeds. I love Kaylee's pose in this picture. She has her model pose going!

September 19, 2013 - 6 years old

This little boy was very excited to go ahead and open presents on his birthday.

As you can tell someone else, Kaylee, wasn't so happy about brother getting presents and not her.

Landon thought he had opened his presents when daddy came riding in on the BEST present ever!

Kaylee was very excited to ride on the back.

He loved his "big boy" helmet.

We had to take him across the street and teach him how to ride. We had no idea that the bike had brakes on the handle bars instead of the pedals. We just loved how cool the bike looked and never thought about the brakes. Luckily he is a fast learner!

Kaylee wanted to ride too and then she informed us that she wanted a bike for her birthday too!

Daddy had to show Landon why this is a "trick" bike. Kaylee was not happy that she was not included.

So, daddy took her for a ride too!

I think we succeeded with the best birthday present ever!
