Day 4 - July 15

The boys got up about 5:00 and headed out to go fishing. (Wes, Landon, Bubba, Uncle Jeff and Brooks) Unfortunatley, there were storms off and on and the waves were high and coming over the side of the boat, so they did a little fishing and decided that the water was too rough. Luckily, Landon was able to catch a red grouper before coming in and then was able to catch a snook when the docked. He was extremely proud!!!

The girls got together and decided to have a girls day shopping, but the rain was a bog bummer since all of the shops are outside. We decided to go ahead and drive to Venice, FL and meet up with the boys. They were finishing up eating breakfast, so we hung out there until the rain stopped. We then all drove down to the beach to look for shark's teeth. This was supposed to be a beach that has a lot, but this beach was a dark color so it was hard to find. After about 30 minutes the wind started to pick up and the lightning and thunder started off in the distance. The guys headed home and the girls went to lunch. The sky cleared of a little bit after lunch and we got a little bit of shopping done and then headed home.

We all went and hung out on the beach for awhile and then it was time for dinner. Since the boys did not catch any fish we had a low country boil which was delicious! It was a lot of fun to just hang out with everyone after dinner, talk and laugh.

The kids all wanted to look for crabs on the beach one last time, so Wes, Jeff, and Bubba all went down with them.
