Day 6 - June 23, 2011

We were excited to get up and have another great breakfast at the "E" Hotel and then head out to Lake Elaine where Allison lives. Jill's family also met us out there. Her place is WAY out, but it is so peaceful there.

As we are pulling in their 3 dogs come running at the car, so I get out to call them away. Wes pulls in, get Landon out and the next thing I hear is crying. Yep, the big dog jumped up to say hi to him and knocked him down to scrap his knees up again. OH FUN! It took awhile, but he did get over it!

Tinsley was playing Ms. Shy at the beginning until the bubbles were brought out.

Kaylee just hung out for awhile. There was a nice breeze so we didn't have to worry about getting too hot.

Whitney and Brooke loved being out with use too, but all 3 babies got tired at the same time and went to lay down. Thankfully Allison had a pack and play that Kaylee slept in for about an hour. Not long enough, but it was better than nothing.

We were excited that Matt, Allison's husband, got to come home for a couple of hours over lunch. It was nice to get to see him this year.

Matt and Allison had some great farm toys that the kids loved playing with.

Then Allison had cookies for them to decorate.

Cade got just a little bit of icing. HA!

Ms. Whitney wasn't having the nap thing, so she got up and enjoyed chewing on the watermelon. I am sure there is a tooth about to pop out!

Wes was very creative.

Can you tell Kaylee is a little grumpy? I told her she wasn't ready to get up from nap, but she didn't listen. Luckily both kids slept the whole way back to the hotel.

Before we left Allison helped the kids make play dough. She is very creative! They loved it!

After we got back to the hotel we laid around for a little bit and then headed for dinner at the Penlands' house. This is Wes' college roommate. I didn't get a lot of pictures because Kaylee just wasn't having it. She was overtired and not a happy camper.

Day 5 - June 22, 2011 - Night Trip

After we all got up from our much needed nap we got ready and headed out to Jill's house. Landon was so excited to go back this year because he wanted to feed Donald the Duck and Jill told us that Donald brought a girlfriend back with him named Daisy. Unfortunately, when we walked out of the hotel we were greeted with dark clouds, thunder in the distance, and the slow rain starting. I prayed the whole way there that the rain would stop so we could see the ducks and the boys could play outside for a little bit.

When we got to their house, Wes got Landon out of the car. I had the umbrella so I planned on getting Kaylee. Wes put Landon down and told him to run into Jill's house so Wes could help me. WELL...not a great idea...the steps were wet and BOOM...down he went. Wes grabbed him up and ran him screaming inside. I got in the house a few seconds later and as Wes if he checked Landon's knees because Wes had blood all over his shirt. Wes was just trying to get him calm and not draw attention to his knees. We finally got Landon cleaned up, got Wes shirt in the washer, and then attempted to get Landon calmed down. I know his knees hurt, but he was also embarrassed. Wes and Landon went and sat in the car until he calmed down and after about 20 minutes, some cool band aids (thanks Jill and Cade!), and some convincing all was well!

Landon got Cade and Tinsley each a gift so we were excited for them to open it.

He got Cade a motorcycle like his, and we had to make sure that Landon's was packed in my purse so they could play with them together.

Then it was Tinsley's turn. Some of you already know, but Tinsley is having open heart surgery on July 7th to repair 2 holes in her heart. We wanted to make her something special that she could take to the hospital. Landon and I had the idea to make her a bear.

Landon and I went to Build-A-Bear and made this adorable bear with scrubs on. We left it up to her to name the bear, which she later named it Bravey. I love it because I know she is going to be a brave little girl!

Cade and Tinsley wanted to hole Kaylee so bad. It just blew my mind watching Cade hold her. It seems like yesterday when Jill called to tell me she was pregnant with Cade. Now he is holding my second baby. This is priceless to me!

I love this girl. We have so many wonderful memories together and I love that we are making more with our families!

Finally it was Tinsley's turn. Next year Kaylee will probably just follow Tinsely around everywhere!

We were so excited that Kent, Jill's husband, was around this year. Last year he had to coach, so we didn't get to see him. Wes doesn't mind hanging out with us girls and the kids, but I know he enjoyed talking to Kent instead! They stayed outside with the kids which allowed Jill, Kaylee, and I to have some time to talk. We both needed that!

The rain finally stopped so we got to go out to see if the ducks would come see us. Well, when the saw us they literally RAN to us. I didn't know ducks could run, but these can!

This is Donald the Duck

This is Daisy the Duck. They found out the next day that Daisy was sitting on eggs. So, who knows how many ducks will be there next year.

He was loves these ducks.

Then it was time for the trampoline.

He didn't care much about those boo boos when it came to the trampoline.

We had such a great time. Then it was time to head back to the hotel and get ready for another big day.
