Landon's 7th Birthday - Pirates' Day

Landon's birthday, September 19, is also Pirates' Day, so each year they dress up and go to get free donuts. This always helps when we have to buy donuts for his whole classroom.

How cute are my pirates?

Wes came to lunch with Landon, and I was able to sneak away from my class for a few minutes to eat lunch too. I love that I work in the same school as my kid and they allow us to be parents too!

Landon did not want a huge party, instead he decided he wanted Stevie B's for dinner and to invite the Hildreth crew to go with us. I stopped and grabbed some cupcakes and then Kamden and Karson stayed the night.

Kaylee and Sophie had to join the group for a little while.

The boys went to bed around 10:00 pm and got up at 6:00 am to go to the GA Bulldogs game. Landon had a blast tailgating and then watching the game.

I have no idea how my Landon Bandon is 7 years old, but he will always be my baby.

Landon thank you for always working hard, loving your sister, helping me out, and just being a sweet kid. I am SO BLESSED to call you my son!!!

Brooks' Football Game

Brooks' team got to play a playoff game at the Georgia Dome where the Falcons play, so we went to watch him. Landon thought it was really neat to be close to the field. Kaylee liked the signs!

Teacher of the Year Nomination

I have been nominated for many years for teacher of the year, but the last 2 years I have been lucky enough to be a part of the top 3. I haven't won it yet, but it feels AMAZING that people think I am doing a great job!

Dinner with the Perrys

We decided to meet up with the Perrys for dinner after Jenna got settled with her new bundle of joy, Annie. I asked Wes to take a picture of us, and of course he has to be a goober! He was counting and we were smiling, but he took a picture of Daniel and him. We finally got a cute one! She is a great friend!

Falcon's Training Camp

We have never been to the Falcon's training camp that is right down the road from us, so we decided to go to one before the preseason started! It was SO HOT that we did not stay the whole time. We gave up and went to have some pizza!

When we walked in and Kaylee saw the guys wearing the football jerseys she yelled,

"GO BRONCOS!" That's my girl!!! I had to tell her we were at the Falcons instead. She was not happy about that! I agree, I would rather see the Broncos practice too!

Then back to the blue and orange!!!

Mimi's Birthday

Mimi came in to celebrate her birthday. We all decided to go to The Ninja.

The whole Sturgeon family met up to have brunch to celebrate Mimi. We decided that this would be a good time to dress alike and take some family pictures. Kaylee thought she was ready with my heels on. She is so darn cute!
