I heard two things from friends and family when we told them that we were going to take both kids to Disney. It was either, "Kaylee will do great! This is the perfect age." or "Why don't you ask her grandparents to watch her?" So the burning question is: Did we make the right decision in taking her at 6 1/2 months? YES!!! She was GREAT!!! She napped in the baby bjourn or in the stroller. When it got to hot Kaylee and I went back to the hotel to rest.
Was it always easy with her? No
Did we get to ride all the rides? No (Landon kept us from that too.)
Would it have been a family vacation without her? NO
I couldn't imagine leaving her at home. These memories were priceless! Her face was priceless when Donald ate her toes, she tried to eat Pluto's nose, she hugged Eeyore and wouldn't let go, or when she was belly laughing while playing with Landon on the bed.
Every moment of having a baby or child isn't easy, but these are the memories that we make to look back on and miss.
So, yes the vacation/experience wouldn't have been the same without our Little Bit!
