Kaylee - 9 months

We have been talking about how we can't believe Christmas is already here. These holidays seem to make the months fly by, which brings Kaylee closer to the 1 year mark. I truly do not know how she has gotten so big so fast, but it is SO much fun to watch her and Landon interact now. I truly feel that they are going to be really close siblings. They both are just mesmerized by the other. As parents, Wes and I, couldn't ask for anything more special. Wes has a brother, but they are seven years apart and didn't get really close until they were older and had more in common. I, on the other hand, am an only child so it is very interesting to see these two together.

Here are some of the newer things she is doing:

- Waves

- Will say Bye or mouth it

- She has been saying "dig" and yesterday I figured out she is trying to say "dog"

- She has said "Nana"

- She is moving EVERYWHERE and into EVERYTHING (Still army crawling with a few real crawls - just like her brother)

- Landon has given up trying to keep "his toys" out of her mouth. He told me it was too much work and that he would only take the ones that she might swallow or would hurt her. (smart kid!)

- Loves puffs and eats then from her tray

- Has tried and seems to like Cheerios

- Loves to be held and chase Landon around

- Her new favorite food is corn and sweet potatoes mixed

- She has been a little more clingy

- Likes Santa's beard

- 5 teeth all the way through - 3 on top and 2 on bottom (3 teeth right under the skin)

- Trying to pull up on things

- One thing that hasn't changed - you CANNOT force her to eat, even if it "is time" and she LOVES her Dada
